I’ve never met someone who is a “perp”, who was not a victim first. Women def talk abt their “childhood” experiences more. Men? Much less. Porn is evil. Kids always seem to stumble upon it accidentally at some point, then the cycle continues 😕

Some things are better left unsaid, imo. I’d be upset if my father said this publicly. I have a similar story (not abt my dad, he was awesome). I’ve never told anyone except my husband. Having his security during times my past feels unbearable, is imperative to my healing. Although other “bad things” have taken place (I’ve endured a lot) I’ve shared with my sons, some of them, when they became older to better understand me and why I am the way I am, has been helpful to our nuclear family. I think every situation is different for everyone. If it’s true abt Ye? It breaks my heart - 6?!? Wow. Try to get Ye to say out loud to himself: “There was nothing wrong with me when I was six”.

100% it’s very rare for men to discuss it- especially men in hip-hop

Do you know the only reason I talk about my experience openly is because my sister died in a car accident suddenly when she was 20 and I was 21. Irish twins they call it. We both endured things no children should ever have to endure and I always felt as the older sibling, it was my responsibility to protect her. Ik, I was only five. What’s a five-year-old going to do when they think something is their fault in the first place because we all think it’s our fault?

Perhaps for me, it’s some sort of recompense in hopes other people will too and understand, it’s more common place than you think it is. To give more humanity to people, maybe Ye is doing this not for shock factor but for the same reason? It’s a possibility anyway…

I still think all of this is Kanye is trying to get ahead of what is going to come out. He’s been doing it. He’s not the smartest dude but he is good with lyrical chess. We’ve become desensitized to his shenanigans and chalk it off to Kanye being Kanye. There is no way he’s not on those Diddy tapes. Trial is coming up. They will use childhood trauma as a defense in some capacity. I just feel like he’s 5 steps ahead and I don’t mean that in an artistic genius “but he did graduation” kind of way. I mean that as he in uses those moves with real life things that have major repercussions. He’s got bigger things to worry about than if he boned Jeffrey Starr. That’s not surprising. Why does he choose certain things to confess or call out but stays tight lipped about so many other things? He’s knows a lot more than he talks about. Why does he protect some people? Maybe not protect but he deems them irrelevant to talk about. Think of the things he’s talking about and trying to get ahead of and on peoples radars. The Kardashians being sex traffickers, free Diddy, music industry is abusive, sucking his cousins D, etc. It’s like he’s building a defense on Twitter. All at the expense of his children. Who will see all of this one day, if they haven’t already. This is not art. Anything that can affect or influence his children in a bad way is not art. His wife in public naked is not art. It’s a free pass for his daughters to think that’s ok when they’re 15 and he doesn’t even care. North might be dressing naked in public and making sex tapes by 18. She has every right to chalk it off as “art.” Both Kim and Kanye have made it ok. That’s not normal.

Really enjoyed this format, Brianna your voice and pov was made for podcasting! I hope you both do more of this. Ye is like the boy who cried wolf, never making sense and fuelling conspiracy, the difference here is Jeffree Starr’s post, suddenly were paying attention.

Okay, I remember hearing that Ricardo Tisci and Ye were a thing years ago. In like the late 2000s. Now I am wondering if it was true. I will say one thing, though. Trey Stone and Matt Parker don't miss😂

I didn’t forget that… it immediately came to mind when Ye brought up the cousin story. There was the Riccardo interview.

Well that’s waaaaay different in my opinion than calling it a homosexual relationship. I don’t find anything soft or down played about “incestuous relationship” so how much TMZ is helping the cause is really up for debate.

I would bet anything that the Tisci rumors are true. Just as the Star rumors were too. But one thing I want to say here - I take some offense to Emilie saying he and his cousin had a homosexual relationship. If the cousin really was six that’s CSAM. Not a consenting relationship.

Brianna and I wrote this together- that’s what the headlines were calling it- how would you describe it? Open to changes

I guess I’m not sure. I just know that calling experimentation or molestation that happened between two children (I’ve seen rumors that Ye is 4 years older than the cousin in question) a “relationship” just doesn’t sit right with me. As kids neither of them could have consented to the actions nor the trauma it would create. I appreciate your openness to discussing it!

The rumors I’m seeing say he was 7 or 8 but nothing is confirmed.

TMZ called it a relationship and I actually felt their article was doing damage control unlike some of the other outlets

Yeah but as you and Brianna said on the podcast, Harvey is thick as thieves with Kris and Kim so I’m sure the article was written in such a way as to try and soften it

Yes but you’re saying calling it a relationship is bad so now I’m wondering if that was their intention

I’m not even sure what to say yet. Other than.. it’s tragic that Ye is choosing to continue the cycle of pain and evil by planning to produce more pornography, and in the imagery he already spreads currently.

He’s doing this because she doesn’t let him see the kids. He is hurting Kim where it hurts the most.

To watch the kids experience shame and nothing she can do about it…

Especially at their school, which he hates the most.

His cousin sounds like he was older than Ye by a few years. He said he sucked his dick until he was 14. He also said a few months after they stopped that his cousin killed a pregnant woman at 17 years old. That would put Ye at a few years younger than his cousin
